The Global Shippers Roundtable (GSR) entitled “Navigating the Waves of Unpredictability: Building Shippers’ Resilience for the Next Normal” is an initiative under the Malaysian National Shippers’ Council (MNSC) in collaboration with Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) aims to provide a platform for shippers’ organisations from around the world, Malaysian trade professionals and policymakers to come together to better understand and address issues of economic importance, industry concerns, and adapting to the evolving global economic and business ecosystem for the next normal post pandemic.

The First International Food and Agriculture Exhibition will be held in Karachi, Pakistan from 10-12 August 2023. This event will provide exporters with an opportunity to interact with local and international buyers. Delegates from 55 countries have been invited to participate in the event.
Till now, 150 stalls have been booked with 106 companies on board. Most buyers are from the rice, confectionery, processed food, and fruits & vegetables sector. However, registrations are still ongoing. By the end of June, 200 companies are expected to be onboard. Additionally, agri tech is also being promoted via this event. FoodAg will also give space to SMEs, and small farmers. Developmental organizations such as USAID and FAO are making their pavilions to support small-scale manufacturers & growers.
An Agri Investment Conference is also planned on the sidelines of the event. Other major sideline activities include the Cuisine show. The basic theme of the Cuisine Show is to make global recipes using local Pakistani ingredients.
