事项:筹募建会所基金
RE: KCCCI BUILDING FUND RAISING 
 
巴生中华总商会成立至今已有71年的历史。本会是一个非营利组织,随着近年会员与活动的增加,现有会所空间已不敷使用,因此本会决定购置更宽敞的会所,以应付未来会务发展的需求。
 
2. 董事会已通过购置与现有会所同排,角楼毗连3个单位,作为新会所。新会所总面积合共约1万8000平方尺,并附带多个停车位。
 
3. 新会所购置费为420万令吉,加上手续费与装修费,总共须筹募600万令吉的会所基金。新会所底层约有6000平方尺的可租赁空间,日后的租金收入将可增加本会收入,成为日后举办活动的经费来源。
 
4. 本会吁请会员、企业商家以及各界人士踊跃捐献赞助,以期集腋成裘,早日落实这项购置会所计划,让本会能更有效率为会员商家服务,搭建更好的上情下达,下情上达桥梁,提升企业的竞争力与营商环境。同时,会员商家也能有更舒适的活动空间。
 
5. 素仰您向来对推动地方经济与社会活动不遗余力,特具函恳请您慷慨解囊,赞助会所基金。随函附上筹募建会所基金表格一份,敬请早日赐复为盼。

The Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCCI) was founded as a non-profit organization 71 years ago. Due to its increasing memberships and frequency of activities in recent years, its existing premises are no longer adequate. In view of this, the Chamber has decided to acquire a more spacious building to cater for its future development needs.
 
2. The Chamber’s Council has resolved to acquire three (3) units of shop lots adjacent to the Chamber’s existing premises to house its office. The new building has a total built-up area of approximately 18,000 square feet and a number of parking bays.
 
3. The purchase price of the new building totals RM4.20 million. This together with the miscellaneous expenses and renovation cost will amount to about RM6.0 million, which is the sum to be raised by the Chamber. The total area of the ground floor of the new building measures some 6,000 square feet which will be leased in future to generate income for the Chamber to be self-sustained and for funding the Chamber’s future activities.
 
4. The Chamber sincerely appeals to its members, the business community and well-wishers to contribute generously towards its fund raising drive to realise its planned acquisition of the new building. With bigger, and more spacious premises, the Chamber will provide better and more effective services to its members, thereby uplifting their business competitiveness. The new premises will offer a more conducive space for members to conduct their activities.
 
5. In view of the substantial cost for acquiring the new building and related cost, we sincerely appeal to you to contribute towards our fund raising efforts to achieve our goal for the common benefits of members. We enclose herewith a copy of our Building Fund Contribution Form for your attention. We look forward to your favourable response.

ASEAN - India Expo & Forum 2017 organised by Department of International Trade Promotion

We are pleased to inform you that the ASEAN-India Expo and Forum 2017 will be held from 2nd - 5th August 2017 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand. This event is organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under the Ministry of Commerce Thailand (MOC). 
 
ASEAN-India Expo and Forum 2017 is an event with the objective to strengthen the strategic partnership between ASEAN and India and also to enhance trade, investment and tourism connectivity between ASEAN and India. The event which comprise of business forum and trade exhibition is expected to provide a great opportunity for leading businessman, high-level policy makers, new entrepreneurs and prominent academics from India and ASEAN countries.   .
 
The organizer had approached MATRADE to seek our assistance to disseminate information on the upcoming ASEAN-India Expo and Forum 2017 and to invite Malaysian companies to participate in the event. 
 
The organizer also had offers ten (10) complimentary standard booths for for each ASEAN countries to exhibit in this event. Therefore, with the participation of Malaysian companies in this event, it will offer great opportunities for Malaysian companies to interact and forge new partnership with a diverse group of potential buyers and clients from ASEAN countries and India.

台湾侨务委员会2017年水产养殖暨加工技术研习班

主旨:‌有關僑委會「2017年水產養殖暨加工技術研習班」 學員遴薦事,請 查照。
‌說明:‌
1.      為輔助僑胞研習水產養殖暨加工相關專業知識及技術, 以培植創業實力及提升經營事業能力,拓展商機,僑委會訂於本年1 0月30日至11月8日舉辦旨揭研習班,委由高雄海洋科技大學( 高雄市楠梓區海專路142號)承辦,師資均為臺灣業界專業講座, 並安排觀摩參訪相關企業。
2.      研習費用:
1.      僑委會負擔學員研習期間之午餐(不含11月5日自由活動日)、 企業參訪活動時第1晚住宿暨晚餐、課程材料、師資、 場地及材料等學雜費用。
2.      學員自付費用:
1.      僑居地往返臺灣之機票費、返臺後機場至報到(研習)地點及活動結 束後至機場之往返交通費。
2.      研習期間膳宿費及其他個人費用;如需協助住宿安排, 可洽由承辦單位高雄海洋科技大學協助代訂蓮潭國際會館(高雄市左 營區崇德路801號)。
3.      研習所需書籍、實習制服等,由高雄海洋科技大學統一代為採購。

超越AlphaGo:由大数据引起的社会,技术与法律的挑战

AlphaGo 的成功是由于运用了大量数据来做出智能判断。问题是:这大量的数据从何而来?数据的分享是否公平?分享过程中,各方(包括数据拥有者和用户)是否都能获益?
 
若不能实现数据的公平共享,新型数据工业与商业就不可能得到发展。那么,为了发展下一代数据工业与商业,使得人人能从中受益,我们在公平分享大数据中面临哪些法律,经济与技术问题?
 
本会将和兴华中学于2017年8月10日晚上8时正至9时30分,于兴华中学科技大楼大讲台联办“超越AlphaGo:由大数据引起的社会,技术与法律的挑战”。此讲座会将由澳门大学校长赵伟教授为主讲人。

侨务委员会“2017年网络店面行销实务班”
Overseas Community Affairs Council’s 2017 E-Stores and Online Marketing Training Programme
 
侨务委员会将于2017年9月4日至9月15日举办上述进阶班, 以协助商家研习适合于海外经营与创业的网络店面行销专业知识及技 能,提升经营事业能力及培植创业实力, 并促进与台湾业者的商机交流。课程内容包括网络开店实务、 行销策略运用、实际案例分析、邀请业者进行经验分享, 并安排参访观摩台湾相关企业。
 
有意参加者年龄必须介于20岁至65岁,通晓中文, 熟悉网络环境,目前从事网络店面行销相关工作者, 有意创业或开展新商机者。一个家庭或每间公司限定一人。
 
侨委会将承担参加者在台培训期间的午餐(不含晚餐及9月10日自 由活动日之午餐)、课程教材、师资及场地等学杂费。 参加者须自行承担膳宿、往返交通费及其他个人费用。
 
简介、报名表格及确认书请参阅附件。
 
有兴趣者请在最迟2017年7月1日之前, 将填妥之报名表格及确认书提呈中总秘书处,以作处理。逾期呈交、 资料不符或不齐全者恕不处理。敬请各属会将有关讯息传达予相关会 员商家是盼。谨此函达。
 
 
Overseas Community Affairs Commission (OCAC) will be organising the 2017 E-Stores and Online Marketing Training Programme from 4th to 15th September 2017. The objectives of the course are to assist entrepreneurs to learn professional knowledge and skill for starting up or operating E-store in overseas, to enhance business management capability and to cultivate entrepreneurship ability, as well as to encourage the interaction with Taiwanese industries. Programmes include E-Stores practical, application of marketing strategy, case study, experience sharing by entrepreneurs and site visit to the related companies in Taiwan.
 
Participants are those familiar with online environment, current working in the related field, interested in starting up or developing new business opportunities, aged between 20 - 65 years old and well versed in Mandarin.  Each company and family can only send one participant.
 
OCAC will pay for lunches (excluded dinners and lunch during free programme on 10th September), course fee and administrative charges during the programme. Participants are required to pay for their own meals and accommodation, return air fare and other own expenses. 
 
Please refer to attachments for brief introduction, registration form and confirmation form.
 
Interested members are required to return the duly completed registration form to ACCCIM Secretariat by 1st July 2017.  Submission without complete information or late submission will not be attended.
