本会为一非牟利华商团体，成立於1900年，是香港历史最长以及最具规模的商会之一。

The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit-making organization of local Chinese firms and businessmen. Founded in 1900, it is one of the oldest and largest chambers of commerce in Hong Kong. 

泰国中华总商会创立於前清宣统二年(一九一O年)，迄今已有一百年历史。时值暹罗励精图治，政治修明，工商繁荣，旅泰华侨人数渐多，经商者众。诸先贤为适应环境，顺应潮流，咸认应成立一商业团体，以密切联系，互助合作，发挥集体力量，携手拓展业务。 

新加坡中华总商会成立于1906年，是新加坡历史悠久的商业团体。

Established in 1906, the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) is an internationally renowned business organisation and the apex body of the Chinese business community in Singapore. 

日本中華總商會成立於1999年9月9日，是由老華僑、新華僑（中國實行改革前來日定居的稱為老華僑；八十年代之後來日的被稱為新華僑）以及有中資背景的在日企業法人組成的華僑、華人經濟團體。在此之前，在日本從未產生過覆蓋全國範圍的華僑、華人經濟組織。
